On 9–10 October 2025, the OpenTAS User Conference – Navigating the Future of Terminals – will take place at the Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg. This exclusive two-day event is tailored for OpenTAS customers and partners, bringing together terminal decision-makers to explore practical steps, emerging opportunities, and the vision shaping tomorrow’s terminal management.
A stable ecosystem across the terminal industry is the foundation for addressing future challenges, which is why this year’s conference is designed as an interactive platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration between all stakeholders as well as the industry’s most important associations.
The conference agenda opens with a welcome note from Harald Wentsch, CEO of OpenTAS, who will address IT/OT convergence, industry challenges, and platform thinking to kick off the event. The agenda then focuses on key topics such as digital resilience, AI-enabled automation, and the value of strong partner ecosystems. Participants will gain insights into the OpenTAS roadmap, hear keynotes from leading experts, and engage in interactive sessions designed for both operational teams and strategic leaders, with contributions throughout from customers and partners.
A highlight will be the panel discussion moderated by Frank Schaper, former Managing Director of UTV. Ravi Bhatiani, Executive Director of FETSA, representatives from customers such as Evos, ITSE, and Navigator and Monica Hildinger, Chief Product Officer at OpenTAS, will together lead the discussion on pressing challenges and future opportunities in terminal management.
Beyond expert presentations, the conference offers excellent networking opportunities: From the pre-event dinner on 9 October to interactive discussions during the main conference day.
With this format, OpenTAS creates a platform where innovation, collaboration, and strategic foresight converge to shape secure, resilient, and high-performing terminal operations.
